Bozeman, MT
2019
In a team of 5, we worked on the exterior finishings and some interior detailing of this 300 square foot fully accessible home. This house was built by Montana State University Architecture students in partnership with HRDC Bozeman to create a prototype for large scale tiny home communities meant to house the homeless population of Southwest Montana. This project was meant to analyze afford-ability, and construct-ability. As well as different ways to incorporate recycled material in the design, such as the laminated wooden interior siding that formerly made up bed frames in the university dorms. Working on this project gave us the opportunity to design details of the house, create mock ups, and then construct them in the ways we had selected.
