Home Stretch

This project consisted of partnership between Shopify, Liiift Studios, and the Material Matters Research Lab at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. The purpose of this project was to identify and research accessible 3D scanning methods that could be developed into usable workflows for merchants to scan and display their products in modern eCommerce platforms. The Material Matters research team was tasked with evaluating these workflows for feasibility, and working through all aspects of 3D scanning and modeling that are required to create web store ready digital assets.
